Paradise Resort - Surfers Paradise, Queensland
City Pacific has purchased the resort previously known as the Mercure Resort, Surfers Paradise and the allotments fronting Norfolk Avenue to consolidate a city block of 28,848 m2 (2.48 hectares) under single ownership. The land is bounded by Ferny Avenue on the east, Birt Avenue on the north, Oak Avenue on the west and Norfolk Avenue to the south.
City Pacific intend to retain and continue to operate the Paradise Resort and develop high quality, high rise residential living on the southern portion of the site for owner occupied apartments.
Potential exists in the future to redevelop the northern portion of the site, constructing additional high rise owner occupied apartments and associated retail uses.
