The City Pacific Private Fund (Private Fund) was established in 2001 to offer investors access to high yielding debt funding opportunities in specialized mortgage markets that are not widely available to non-institutional investors. As the fund is structured to be high yielding it is only available to sophisticated investors at the invitation of the Manager, City Pacific Ltd.

The capital raised through the Private Fund is used to make secured loans principally to property developers and is allocated on a development by development basis. Typical loans range from $1 million to $25 million, with terms varying from 6 to 24 months.

The Private Fund allows City Pacific to match sophisticated investors and institutions to opportunities available through specialised structured finance arrangements, and to further capitalize on opportunities that have a higher risk profile that may not be suitable for retail investors.
